Pattanga (Sappanwood) tea
Sappanwood, or Secang in Indonesian, is used to make a medicinal tea. It cleanses the blood and cures acne. It is excellent for the skin and removes fine wrinkles. It contains brazilin, which protects skin against UV rays and skin photo aging. Sappanwwood can greatly prevent tooth decay. Sappanwood also has a protective effect on the brain. It is excellent for treating wounds.
Ashitaba tea
Ashitaba is a detoxifyer of cells, very high in chlorophyll (a substance that has a molecular structure similar to that of human blood). It is one of the highest vegan sources of vitamin B12. Ashitaba is very rich in minerals and phytochemicals because it grows only on volcanic soil. The main locations where it has been able to grow so far are some volcanic islands in Japan, and the volcanic slopes of volcanoes in Indonesia.
Ashitaba out-performs all other green leafy vegetables that were tested for their antioxidant potential. It has extremely alkalizing properties. It containing 11 vitamins, 13 minerals, chlorophyll, enzymes, carotene, germanium, saponins, proteins, plant fibers, glycosides, coumarins and a unique and rare class of flavonoids called chalcones which confer potent antioxidant activity.
Moringa tea
Moringa is one of the most complete, nutrient-dense plants on Earth. Its leaves have been eaten for thousands of years as a vegetable, a medicine and in times of need. Gotu Kola tea
Gotu Kola is a longevity herb. It was highly praised in both classical Ayurvedic and Taoist medical texts. It is considered a blood tonic in both Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It fortifies the immune system and strengthens the adrenals. As a cerebral tonic, Gotu kola is also an effective herb against depression. It is rich in anti oxidants like Superoxide Dismutase (SOD). It is used in liver disorders, enhances memory, intelligence and strengthens the body.
Gotu Kola is also an excellent beauty herb. It promotes beautiful skin by increasing collagen production and carrying away toxins which cause skin blemishes. Because it helps to repair connective tissue, it is also very effective at reducing the appearance of scars.

COOLERS
- Aam Panna – Made from unripe mangoes, salt, cumin powder, cilantro, chillies and mint
- Panaka – Summer cooler made of jaggery, dry ginger, and cardamom. Even if it is served at room temperature, it works as a great cooler.
- Shikanji – Made of lemon or lime juice, ginger juice, ice, and water. Some recipes also include salt, saffron and cumin into the drink. Shikanji is served ice cold often with mint leaves and some fresh fruits.
- Chandan Sherbet – Sandalwood is renown for its cooling properties. Little wonder why is such a great summer cooler. Infused with kewra extract and rose petals, this drink has unique flavors and a stunning color.
MILKS
- Thandai – prepared with a mixture of almonds, fennel seeds, watermelon kernels, rose petals, pepper, poppy seeds, cardamom, saffron, milk and sugar. Often associated with the Maha Shivaratri festival.
HERBAL SYRUPS
- Rooh Afza – Rooh Afza syrup is generally served mixed with cold milk and ice. The concentrate can also be mixed with water, which is a common preparation in the hot summers. When mixed with water, the final drink is a type of sharbat.
